We are biiig into reusing. Finding a new use for an old thing is our go and so we present our ‘Whatever shall I do with this old user manual?’ idea.
If you usually buy sketchbooks but you have old manuals just sitting around, why not save yourself a bit of money AND do something nice for the environment.
So, what have you got? – a box of old cards, photos, tickets and notes you hardly ever look at because it’s stuck in a cupboard somewhere; recipes on slips of paper strewn about the place; scattered scribbles (this is me) – whatever. Here’s how old user manuals can help you get it together.
Instructions:
1. Grab an old manual (or book)
2. Gather your content
3. Paste or tape content to pages
Hey presto! Here is a bunch of things such a book could contain:
* ideas
* notes
* reference material
* inspirational images
* sketchbook
* recipes
It might not look perfect but it’s more interesting for it – not to mention Molto Creativo!
So, next time you are wandering – trance-like – down the stationery aisle looking for that new sketchbook, snap out of it. Think of all the old books and manuals you have at home and give em a fighting chance.
